20
MAY 2005
Dear Purchaser
Since
our April Newsletter, it has been
a frustrating couple of weeks awaiting
the Department of Agriculture's
final submissions as directed by
the D F A Appeal Tribunal. The deadline
set by the Tribunal for the Department
to comply with all the provisions
of the regulations expired on 19
May 2005. We have confirmed with
the Registrar of the Tribunal that
no further documentation has been
served by the Department, and we
therefore consider this Appeal to
have lapsed.
In
light of the above, the developers
have taken the decision to commence
with the civil works at Garlington
Estate with immediate effect, and
we have therefore engaged the services
of civil contractors to commence
with the civil works. We expect
that the contractors will move on
site without any further delay.
As
directors, we have engaged the services
of Advocates' Dickson SC and Lotz
to ensure that your rights, as well
as our own, are protected in any
further matters that may come about.
We hope that this unfortunate saga
has now come to an end and we can
commence with the spectacular residential
development which Garlington promises
to be.
Yours sincerely
"DR DOUG CROWE"
CHAIRMAN OF THE Garlington DEVELOPMENT
TRUST
