new restaurant. Overlooking Crowe square and
the evergreen pastures of our estate in the country,
“Nicolson’s” will be the ideal meeting
place of homeowners & residents alike.
Husband & wife team, Jonty & Tanya
Nicolson, have made a move from the heat of
Zululand up to Hilton, one of their favourite spots
in Kwazulu. We can look forward to their bringing with
them, the style they have become so well known for in
Zululand- that of the “country cuisine”.
Jonty, as head chef, is no stranger
to the Midlands, as his most valuable initial years
in the chefing trade were spent as sous chef to the
well-renowned Richard Poynton of “Cleopatra Mountain
Farmhouse” fame. It was there that Jonty learned
his most invaluable lessons which geared him up for
starting his own gourmet restaurant on the family macadamia
nut farm in Zululand to working with Michelin-starred
Chefs in Switzerland. |
