Linking the Promenade to the central properties are a number of squares which act like green fingers, stretching from the Promenade into the heart of the village zone.
The Promenade in turn is connected to the vast open spaces to the east by valleys which are being established with indigenous trees and wetlands.
In addition to Crowe Square, there are 2 other major squares in the village zone: Stelton Square and Gable Square.
Both squares are to be framed by double-storey houses reminiscent of the old Cape Town homes. Each square has been landscaped in such a way as to develop its own identity.
The architecture of each differs, although both are true to South African architecture and demand houses which are to be well proportioned and carefully detailed.
