The Assisted Living Units are within close proximity to Garlick House and the Village Community Centre which is managed by Select Services.

These units are designed for independent living but offer an umbrella of care and support.
• Access to our 24-hour on-site Nursing Sister
• Access to a 24-hour on-site carer
• Emergency panic buttons are provided allowing residents to call for assistance if they have
had a fall, or not feeling well. We encourage our residents to always wear their panic buttons
around their necks.
• Medication management and daily administration – including obtaining new scripts from
doctors, orders and deliveries from pharmacy.
• State of the art response system monitored externally and managed by Garlington Select
Care
• Assistance with organising appointments – dentists, doctors, physiotherapists, etc.
• Visits by the carers during the day and night, if required.
• Three course lunch time meal – which can be served in their unit or at clubhouse.
• Involvement in activities and entertainment
• Clubhouse
• Laundry 2-3 times weekly
• Thorough clean once weekly and spot clean daily

Other available services at an additional charge: –
• Private carers – day and/or nightshift
• Light breakfasts and suppers delivered to the unit
• Assistance with daily activities of living such as bathing and dressing.
• Visits to Doctors and dentist
• Medical consumables and specialised dressings
• Spar orders can be done weekly to provide for personal hygiene items, as well as groceries
and special treats.
• Shopping outings to the local shops and occasionally to the mall.
• All incontinent products e.g., nappies, pads etc.
• Any specialised cleaning requirements, such as carpets etc.
• We have secured a contract with St Michael’s Ambulance, so they are available for any
assistance 24/7. This service will be free of charge and you will only be charged if you are
transported to a hospital.
• Doctor home visits can be arranged when needed.
