Garlick House features 10 spacious ensuite rooms centered around a cosy communal living area, with 24-hour nursing, all meals, laundry, cleaning, medication management and daily activities included.
The Sarah Lane and Marigold Studio Apartments offer independent living with full frail care support when needed, allowing residents to age comfortably in their own homes. Residents enjoy security, daily care, night staff, all meals, emergency response, cleaning, laundry and access to all care centre activities. Frailcare can be given in these apartments and the frailcare cost per month including 24 hour care would be R25500: INCLUSIONS:
The monthly fee includes:
• 24-hour professional nursing care.
• Medication management and organising doctor’s visits.
• All meals – Lunch is served in the Clubhouse or Care centre and breakfast can be whenever and whatever you feel like on the day. Tea and coffee are served all day.
• Emergency panic buttons, but assistance is literally just a shout away.
• All cleaning and laundry.
• Activities – Garlick House is always busy so there is no time to feel bored or lonely. Puzzling, rummikub, scrabble, movies, tea and socialising go on all day.
• Two nursing sisters, work back-to-back, and one of them lives in one of the Studio Apartments on site. A staff nurse is on duty at night.
• We have a doctor in attendance on a Tuesday morning, the hairdresser is open on Friday and transport available for doctor’s visits and outings 3 days a week.
